What does the annual subscription include?
Your £4999 annual subscription gives you 365 days of unlimited access to search and view all candidate profiles in the CVHound.com database. You can build shortlists, send interview requests, and manage all your hiring activity from one dashboard.
When is the placement fee charged?
A placement fee is only charged when you make a confirmed hire of a candidate introduced through CVHound.com. There is no fee for searching, viewing, or interviewing candidates.
How is the placement fee calculated?
A flat 5% placement fee is charged on the candidate's confirmed start salary. There are no tiers — the same rate applies to every hire.
What is the non-circumvention clause?
When you book an interview with a candidate through CVHound.com and are given access to their full CV, a 12-month non-circumvention period begins from that date. If you hire that candidate within those 12 months without paying the placement fee, this is a breach of our terms.
What happens if the candidate leaves within 3 months?
For permanent placements only: if a permanently placed candidate leaves their role within 90 days of their start date, you can choose either a free replacement search at no additional placement fee, or a 50% rebate of the placement fee. This applies regardless of whether your annual subscription is still active, and does not apply to contract or temporary placements.
Can recruitment agencies use CVHound.com?
No. CVHound.com is strictly for direct employers only. Recruitment agencies are prohibited from registering as employers. Any account found to be a recruitment agency will be immediately suspended and refunded.
How are candidates found and how are their details protected?
Candidates upload their CVs/Resumes and are discovered through our AI-powered search. Personal contact details (email, phone, full name, company names in work history) are hidden until an interview is booked and confirmed through CVHound.com, protecting both parties.
How long does account approval take?
All employer accounts are manually reviewed to maintain the quality of the platform. Approval typically takes within 24 hours of registration and payment.
